After-School Programming
Girls Inc. After School Program
Allendale students are served with the after school provider, Girls Inc . The zero cost after school program provides a safe, supportive space for TK-5th grade students. The youth development-based program design focuses on the following:
- Academic Engagement: Literacy, Life Science, Basic Career Exploration
- Healthy Living: Nutrition & Sports
- Leadership Development: Confidence, Relationships with Peers and Adults, Positive Self and Community Images
The program runs Monday to Friday from school dismissal to 6pm. Contact: Alma Manzano at AManzano@girlsinc-alameda.org.
Violin
We offer violin lessons twice a week year round to interested 3rd-5th grade students.

Art Club
Allendale has two after-school art clubs with Ms. Jessica, our art teacher. Students collaborate on school beautification efforts and engage in project based learning, gaining confidence and skills in painting, drawing, sculpture, clay, and printmaking.

Sports
Allendale has robust sports programing for our 3rd-5th grade students, which focuses on youth development and sportsmanship.
Football: fall co-ed football is offered twice a week.
Cross Country: fall girls running and spring boys cross country is offered with our Technology teacher, Mr. Macias.
Soccer: We partner with Soccer Scores and our own Mr. Oscar to offer fall boys soccer and spring girls soccer twice a week.
Basketball: Co-ed basketball is offered in the spring twice a week.
